recombinant proteins in cell culture systems for pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications.
We are seeking a conscientious individual to fill our Quality Control HPLC Technician position
for our Middleton facility. |

OBJECTIVE: |
| |
Quality Systems is responsible for all quality assurance
and quality control functions at CPS - Middleton. The Department approves and manages
all critical documents, e.g. standard operating procedures, tests raw materials and
in-process and final product, conducts internal and vendor audits, coordinates client
and regulatory audits, and coordinates Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) training.
Quality Control (QC) conducts laboratory analysis and systems monitoring.

RESPONSIBILITIES: |
| |
The QC HPLC Technician is a key member within the
Quality Control laboratory. The basic function is to perform general laboratory
analytical tasks, with emphasis on HPLC analytical techniques. The QC HPLC Technician
will support both Quality Control and Process Development as required including:

| |
 |
Performs analytical tasks, including SDS
PAGE, ELISAs, with an emphasis on HPLC |
| |
|
Provide analytical support to both QC and Process Development |
| |
|
Provides input on analytical method Standard Operating Procudures (SOPs) |
| |
|
Assists in transfer and qualification of analytical methods |
| |
|
Complies with SOPs |
| |
|
Analyze and maintain data per applicable SOPs |
| |
|
Documents activities in a cGMP manner |
| |
|
Performs investigation and resolution of out-of-spec events |
| |
|
Prepares reagents and solutions as necessary to conduct analyses |
|
| |
|
| |
QUALIFICATIONS: |
| |
| |
|
1 to 2 years of relevant work experience
required, cGMP experience is desirable. |
| |
|
Prior experience with HPLC and general analytical methods required. |
| |
|
Documentation experience preferred. |
| |
|
Detail oriented. |
| |
|
Good oral and written communication skills. |
|
| |
|
| |
EDUCATION: |
| |
| |
|
A.A.S. or B.S. degree in biotechnology, chemistry, biochemistry or relevant field. |

| |
